    Fo' Real

I see a ton of players complaining about the current LTQ, and how it was designed to stop 'prehitting.'

1.) Gree is a for-profit company. I'm not sure when everyone forgot how capitalism works.

b.) Gree's priority is collecting gold, not making events easier for people to earn prizes without spending it.

iii.) Prehitting is pretty close to a glitch. This point is debatable, but some will agree, and it is definitely a gray area.

Finally) If you were going to exploit a workaround to spending gold on an event, why in the world would you discuss it in a forum where you know Gree employees *have* to read each post?

    In summary:

    Regards,

Prehitting is not a glitch at all, that's ridiculous. If you spend the time, energy, and eat the XP cost to prehit all maps, you deserve to have an advantage.

Sure it's not a glitch. But it's clearly not the way the event was intended to work, so quit whining when Gree finds a way to work around it. Now shut the hell up about it because the more people doing it, the harder Gree's going to work to fix it.

edit: chuckled at "exp cost." Campers should be shot.

The whole notion that GREE acts rationally in anything is ridiculous. Okay, so here's a new LTQ that involves massive energy costs even to complete the normal mode (which is as far as a free player could feasibly get, I believe) for an awful 255/210 prize, uses a lot of expensive single hit buildings and late map multi-hit buildings that aren't likely to be prehit, etc., which are all factors that should benefit gold players (or screw free players, depending on your perspective). So what better way to reward all these gold players than by offering the worst LTQ prizes yet?

To your other point, I'm not a camper at all, but I'm starting to level high enough that it affects my ability to score IP in syndicate wars. I could light up someone who was, say, level 212 and 269k defense for an average of 425 IP/attack, but I would only average 400 IP/attack on some level 198. So I'm not camping in the slightest, but it's actually a reasonable question to ask if I want to level up 5-6 levels in exchange for a ~20-30k stat boost.

dumbest event ever & dumbest thread ever.

You design an event for gold spending, then give the worst rewards of any previous LTQ. Bite off the hand that feeds you. It's not very clever by Gree at all and neither is your post.

First couple ltqs had ridiculous prizes. This is more in line with historical norms. Rare boss prize for every level you complete beyond 30 or so.

Dippy...I find myself agreeing with you more and more these days...I'm starting to get a bit worried.

There's a modifier in this LTQ...guys spend vault after vault in order to get similar modifiers in collect 10 events. Here with less then a single vault, you get 20+ items and a modifier. Doesn't sound that bad to me....

Or no vault at all. Elite 9 is easily doable without any gold

Only if you've prehit all the maps...It takes nearly 70k of energy and you only have ~5 days to complete it. Most haven't prehit all the way up to Little San Juan.

73,000 energy in 5 days is "easily doable"? With the class bonus of 10% faster energy regen, that's ~200 energy/hour, which is 4800 energy/day, or 24,000 energy over 5 days. Even those with +5 energy modifiers instead of +3 get ~330 energy/hour, which is 7,920 energy/day or 39,600 energy over 5 days. Good luck having those later maps like the Hospitality District, Hillcrest, Packer Heights, Little San Juan, etc., all pre-hit.
