Hi,
Sorry, for the late reply, but I had to get word from the designers on this.
The armor sets noted here are from really old Epic Bosses, so unlocking + versions is... basically correct functionality. It was only for the older sets and not the newer ones i.e. Blackfrost.

Very intriguing. Is there no intent to install this system? Make combination crafting count as crafting for + versions?

The same thing happened to me when I leveled up the Exorcist's Vestments.
Taking what The Wise One has said into account I guess that was an old boss too.
Looks like they added the armors into the fuse results system but forgot to disable the Armorsmith + version announcement.
