Have you managed to open the boxes? I've tried six times with gold. And always "Sorry better luck next time"... Previously I've got like every second with gold, so I should have opened one or two already.

I used gold to open spider box every hour and all were "Sorry better luck...". Upgraded to newest version. no luck so far .

Tried first time with gold no luck and second time with rusty knife, got a gem. Asia player ipad2, system did not crush.

Next time I tried, I opened a box with gold. Needed to write here for it to happen

one way to circumvent the crash is to go the quest via the map. check where the quest is and instead of hitting the button - go to maps and that will take you there! good luck

Excellent thread Gambit, nice addition TempusD appreciate your valued input and spreadsheets, although some arent into these i find them very useful and assist me where i need to be .
Stoopid Axe/Bow drops 14 Axes and 3 bows , 5 Gems ! 50 amassed boxes to open , lucky only useing Gold option!

OK so I tried one last time before I went to bed and the quest worked! I just restarted the game and the box icon had appeared and I got a better luck next time message. Since then have managed to get plenty of boxes open, 5 gems and a load of gold and honour. Seems I open more than I get denied, all with gold.

Hope he crashing has been resolved for everyone now

Im having same prob its showing but every time i click on it the game crashes and closes out

This too on top of not being able to transfer game. This is all part of the "bug" fix. I guess I shouldn't feel too bad that I can't transfer game back to my ipad, since the new LTQ doesn't work anyway.
