    Thank you Devin! :)

Thank you Devin for all the work that you have put into all those walkthroughs. Normally I would just read your walkthroughs and not post anything since you were already receiving lots of thanks and appreciation. My whole faction mates always look forward to your walkthroughs because it is complete, concise, and well written. We were happy to see that you were being recognized by GREE when the event started and was actually looking forward to spending the $$$ needed to get the unit that was named after you.

As you proceeded to complete the walkthrough it was evident that GREE would require us to spend too much gold to get your unit. I was looking forward to your unit and want to thank you again for what you have done to ensure that most of us dont spend too much $$$$$$$ by your sacrifice in completing that walkthrough.

A praise to Devin from GREE in the beginning, became an insult to Devin in the end and that was my main motivation to register so I can actually post my opinion in support of Devin. If you dont post another walkthrough again, a lot of people will understand. Everyone has their own choice to maks regarding continuing this event, I chose to play along and spend 0$ in this event.

Thanks again Devin for now, and all the other walkthroughs that I never said thank you in a post.

.....Would have really wanted to have your unit though...... as appreciation to you I would have spent the additional $$$ but in your own words W T ****

    The best LTQ yet?

It seams many don't like this event and the rewards it brings.

If you are a top player this event might be a lot better than many of the previous. Remember if you already are at level 250, leveling is no issue either.

The normal mode might give you 4 units with considerably better stats than your the last unit you bring to battle. While prestige will give you 8 units units with good stats, above the TR (283 attack). All at a price a lot lower than the box event units, for top 50.

With prepping and some patience you would get 12 units with raw stats in excess of 16k, if the TR is your last unit you will increase your raw stats by for about 3k of gold.

    The math:
    Normal mode:
    414+711+1,029+1,993 = 4,147
    Prestige mode:
    4,147+2,102+2,040+1,550+1,070+697+432+324 = 12,362
    Total:
    16,509
Then your last units 12 TRs has to be subtracted, as they could be the replaced units.
    12*283 = 3,396

    Raw gains:
    13,113

Gaining more than 4 stat point per gold bar spent.
The new LE sets would only give you approx 4/3 per gold bar spent.
This event is then more than 3 times better than buying the LE sets for some players out there.

Numbers never lie, all in all a good event for the strong ones, but not for the masses. One will have to pick ones battles.

After all this game is not just about spending

I gotta wonder if gree is conspiring to knock out the Devin LTQ threads. Make it so expensive he won't keep doing them. Just a thought.

Devin you should set up a LQT contribution mechanism to recover your losses - I'd throw in a dollar.

I think I can safely sum up the sentiment here with 'WTF?!'

PRESTIGE MODE COMPLETE - LTQ EVENT COMPLETE

    TOTALS FOR PRESTIGE MODE
    Raw gains (a/d): 13,258/12,236
    Bonus gains: n/a
    Valor gain: 4,650
    Gold spent: 3,260
    Enery Used: 169,725
    XP gained: 49,780

TOTALS FOR ENTIRE EVENT (both NORMAL and PRESTIGE MODE):
    Raw gains (a/d): 18,385/16,410
    Bonus gains: n/a
    Valor gain: 7,000
    Gold spent: 4,020
    Enery Used: 248,128
    XP gained: 63,159

Analysis to come tomorrow ... but vs Extreme Measures, this is:
    - 3/4 the raw stats
    - 1/8 the amount of valor
    - no boosts/bonuses
    - 2.5 times the energy requirement
    - 2.5 times the gold
    - 2.x times more xp gained
Approximately, it's 3.3 times worse than prior.

...and back to my original statement: WTF?!?!

I thought like many, again stupidly that GREE had seen the light and started to work with their key players, being creative and coming up with new ideas.

My team wanted an elite force of Devin's to join our fleet of Xians, our domian's and plaaf's, but a quarter of a million energy - someone must be losing the plot over there, as its a special add 10% and most will buy gold to complete and everyones happy, through a bonus in to cover the last ltq.

I am truly sorry that you have been treated like this buddy, I have instructed my whole team of 34 members to stop this ltq, it really is one thing after another, its constant disappointment.

Again thanks for your intel which allows us to make these choices, great work as normal.

Thank you Devin, as you saved a lot of people a lot of gold. But unfortunelty you will not be joining my inventory.
I would also suggest you looking into changing your name. You are better than this.

As much as I don't care for the lowered units, lack of a boost and increase in price; it seems they have realized that they were making battles extinct by having event rewards that dwarfed battle rewards (top 3 excluded). I would say that the field has been leveled now for events and battles, at least this go around.

Still proud to have "Officer Devin" in my ranks !!!!
