Between Friends buggy?

I am having trouble completing Between Friends 2 despite having "Engage[d] in 7 Tournament Battles in a Single Day" yesterday and at least 15 today. The number it says I have completed goes up by one only some of the times I complete a battle. Other times, like just now, after 1 battle it goes from 5/7 to 1/7... And it's the middle of the day. What gives? Anyone else having this problem?

All of the "in a single day" quests are buggy. Every time you restart the app it resets the count back to zero, so you have to complete them in a single session rather than a single day.
