Getting close to building 125 buildings, but was gonna sell a ton of decorations to achieve, wondering if there is a point to selling as I may have to buy back later.

At least make the next objective something different then come back to the 150 bldgs.
I quit on all of them when it got to get a supply depot to level 9.
I don't even have a level 1 supply depot

I have 150 decorations right now that I am working on if I feel like spending the money but am waiting until I get more space and have more buildings purchased before really working on it.
Is it worth it to keep them? I'm at level 137 or something right now, and I have no idea if I''ll have to decorate more at this level. I've been told to not sell them because at some point I'll have to buy them back and more for yet another quest/mission. But they take up so much room on my base; I could put three ginormous football stadiums in the space they are taking up. So is there any reason, at my level, to not sell them? Are there higher level missions that say "Darn it Colonel, we have to buy some azaleas and pink daisies to make the base more flowery, so go and buy 500 of them"????
