Look at the stats for 1-5 and figure how much gold you want to spend...since when is being happy in a specific spot so bad...BTW have you been up against Indians or FC? Guess not!

is there a minimal you need to buy per week?
We don't set minimal requirements on gold required to be purchased on a weekly bonus or anything like that. For new members, we require that you have a minimum of 300k IP per battle.
