Anyone notice as the days drag on with this event that the chances of getting a drone from a crate gets less and less?

Is this be design, as in, is there a limited number of drones in the event that get sucked up by the gold buyers?

I ended up with 13 (lucky me) using cash only. I did notice it opened in spurts, got 3 in a row couples of times, then massive dry spells. I still had 25 unopened when it end. I think I ended up getting 1 crappy non-event unit,2 mafias, a thousand bucks and 200 valor.
