I don't get what is wrong with the new rivals list, I am only a bit over 40k ATT, and sure there are some people with 120k attack, but even for me at lvl140ish there are plenty of people weaker than me to attack.
It seems to give me a good mix of weak and strong rivals so it really doesn't bother me at all.
