Why do people say to avoid accepting mob invites from people 5+ lvls higher than you. What does their level have anything to do with your game play?
And why is it when I always get 1-2 kills away from completing a winning streak I always lose the fight a couple times before it lets me finish it ?? lol
Level doesn't affect you at all. Their stats don't either.
It's just bad luck. Try fighting weaker players.
Thanks Bald Zeemer. If I take away the defense from all my upgraded buildings it reduces to 159k and thats it. When I was attacked, I was unable to successfully defend even one fight. When I attacked, I was able to win only 50% fights. Could it be because the best 2500 weapons of my opponent bring to the battle more att and def as compared to my best 2500 weapons?
Also, skill points play a role too, isn't it? What is the logic involved there?
Your attack and defense is the best 2500 (or whatever) weapons + lvl/100*10(skill pts), true building defense.
The old issue on android of all your weapon stats showing up, rather than top 2500 has been fixed, I believe (I'm iOS so I might be wrong here).
Two opponents both being able to beat each other (or unable to do so) can occur simply due to a focus on attack or defense, respectively.
Also the required attack to successfully rob is significantly lower than the required attack to successfully fight. I believe you require something along the lines of a 50% stat advantage to completely prevent being robbed by an opponent.

My game restarted on me. Does anyone know how to get it back? I've already contacted the support people and that was last night. I may seem a bit inpatient but I was a level 82 with 400 mafia and I was in a good syndicate. Now I am a level 2 with nothing. Can someone please help me?

That is not true. If you are caught cheating you are banned, if you have an offensive name it will be changed to Alex.
My in game name is Alex because I set it as Alex at the start, it does not mean I am a cheat.

No they allowed me to pick the name and I don't cheat.
Your name will be Alex in the following conditions:
- You picked Alex or didn't pick a name at all
- You transfer your game and a default Alex profile is loaded on the old device
- Your name is found to be violating the TOS
