Massive Stat Inflation?

Has anybody else been fighting and noticed that rivals have massively inflated stats? In some cases up to 200% actual stats?

My last fight the profile says they had 42k defense but the fight results screen revealed they in reality only had 29k defense.

I'm sorry if this has been documented already I've been a little out of it lately

Its because the defense buildings they have don't give the full benefit. It's like a 50% addition to defense or something.

yeah had the same experience as you, but don't forget about the defense buildings...they add up fake stats on the profile page

Every single person suddenly has an extra 15k defense than they should, I thought we got rid of the visible bonus from defense buildings? Suddenly everyone with 300 - 500 mafia around me has 50k defense and higher and I don't think I've entered the shark tank anytime soon either.

Oh far more than that. Extreme example is level 10 bodyguard; claimed 750, actual more like 55

Maybe because i just switched devices? On my IPod it wasn't doing this poorly with the stats, it was pretty accurate in the sense that whatever their profile defense was minus the 2 mafia from the skullcrusher flail was the result for hte most part.

Pawn, you're not taking into account the syndicate effect. If your opponent belongs to one then it's a function of how many defense boosts they have multiplied by the real defense and real bldg defense on one calculation (the one you see when you PVP) and a simple across the board multiplier for the profile stats.

You should see more of this with the new PVP contest for top 50 syn. That is if you can figure out if they belong to a syn (if you waste time reading their msg board and if they tell anyone). If you are a quant junkie knock yourself out.

It took me awhile to realize stats were different while hunting for bricks and the variance by looking at hoods vs profile stats vs actual Def number that things were different and much more unpredictable.

The syndicate bonus doesn't appear in the profile, only fight results

yup same here. im guessing the defense stat boost from syndicates is not showing when you click the rivals info. it only shows once you attack them. very dumb if you ask me.....(im on droid btw)

Just happened again to a lesser extent. I attack this dude with 27k defense and fight result shows 33k.
