Boss Event -> Syndicate Prize?

Lots of people engaged in the Beantown Mike boss event right now. I'm wondering if this is not a syndicate event and if wins accumulated so far count toward our syndicate totals?

Technically this is a Syndicate event or the first event in Battle for Empire City.. Paulio on other thread was correct.

Proof: Access the Event icon and you'll see this is "Overthrow the Boss" PROGRESS is now up instead of TBD

I don't know if anyone else noticed, if you select the syndicate icon under the mission icon it shows take out the boss in progress.

I noticed that too, I thought it was strange but the rest of HTC thinks it's unrelated.

does this mean that we should have waited until the "progress" bar showed up before we started defeating him? Should we have waited ? And does out defeats before the progress showed up still count? im confused !!
