Why are the percents on the upgrades short

Guild upgrades go up in increments of 5% so why are they short 1% on the second upgrade and so far the third upgrade. Does it get added at the end. Can anyone help. Sent in a ticket have not gotten response yet

I noticed this as well. Since each upgrade says it increases it by 5% we can only assume this is an error/glitch until told otherwise.

Yeah I sent ticket thinking it was an error as we have 14% building cost reduction bonus and 14% building time reduction which is odd compared to MW and CC.

The fourth building cost reduction does not bring total to 19% but 18%. Last bonus cost in this area costs 24 mil.

It is because these reductions are multiplicative, not additive. Two 5% reductions aren't a reduction of 10%, they are a reduction of 9.75% (1 - (1-5%) x (1-5%) = 1 - 95% x 95% = 1 - 90.25% = 9.75%). Gree's interface rounds that to 9%, but the math behind it is using 9.75%. Four reductions gives 1-95%^4 = 18.5% (which shows at 18%) and five reductions gives 1-95%^5 = 22.6% (which shows as 22%).

All of a sudden I thought I was reading the "Terms and Conditions". I was reading it trying to convince myself I knew EXACTLY what I was seeing...but all I get in my head is 5% x 5% = Jello (buffalo*6) + canoe paddle = 9.75%
