Question for Limited Gold Spenders

I've spent some gold but not TOO much. I try to only spend it on things that can not be obtained freely. ie, no weapons, henchmen... However, I did waste some gold on the last collect-10 event, because a +5 respect item would be a game changer for me at this point (ie, switches focus from PvP to robbery)

After I upgraded to Goodfella I bought some gold buildings because I figured that you couldn't get them freely. Ice Creams, Smoke Shop, C&W. Both my initial BBall court, and the Ice Creams have made it to L10, but once I developed my strategy, the Smoke Shop and C&W never got very developed and have been sitting at L5 for most of this time. (L6's are on the first page of my spreadsheet now) I came to the conclusion that they were not worth it.

Recently I've been eyeing the Wedding Chapel. It's US$7.50/, which is on the high end of what I'd like to spend, but seems like a pretty good building. I've also got Condos and French Restaurants coming up soon, so how do they rank in your experience?

The holiday gold buildings seem like they've been the best deal so far. Maybe I should just wait until another one of those is offered. Do we know when that will be?

Pirate Tavern over Chapel.

If the Chapel is on the 'high end' of what you would like to spend at 75 gold, I'm not sure what other building you could get that is worth it..

Just go wild on tapjoy and make it up to 110.

I find the Pirate Taverns very difficult to collect on time everyday. I MUCH prefer my Gents Clubs. I know that is a ways off for the OP, but worth saving for IMO.

And to answer the original question, I'm not a huge fan of the Wedding Chapels, but will probably build one next as I've already built 2 Gents Clubs, 2 Pirate Taverns, 2 Smoke Shops, and 2 Rock Cafes in that order. I just find saving for a Palm Hotel too daunting.

Agreed. I like my Wedding Chapels, but they are definitely way below these three. Both my WC's are level 6, and they are near the top of my 2nd tier upgrade list. After I rotate through my big upgrades (NC, Palm, Casino, GC, RC, PT, Hot, etc) and start to save for the next NC upgrades, WC's are usually in the mix.

Set alarms on your phone. I very rarely miss collecting my 8 hour buildings. I collect usually around 6:15, 2:15 & 10:15. The only time I miss is when I am too hungover to care enough about crime city at 6:15 am. The Pirate Tavern has the 6th highest iph in the game at level 10 (right behind the Gent Club).

That's me to a tee lol😁, although for me it's a tad earlier on collection times, Anyhow's OP this makes perfect sense to me, good advice, and free to boot!
