First Time getting 40

Spent a little gold to make up for my mistake of starting late, and just finished.

Since event is over, it gave me my common item, and cleared the event from the left had tab.

I expected some fanfare for beating the 40th, but there was nothing.

When can I expect the item for beating the 40th? Is it in a couple of days like the other types of events?

Based on my sample of one, you should should receive the item immediately upon the 40th kill - along with the standard item (rare, uncommon or common).

It is awarded as soon as you complete the 40th boss, as you would get any boss item.

I had same issue, did not see my award. I opened a case with Gree.

As the event was to finish at 12 noon pacific time, i do not imagine that kills after that would count towards the total.

Depends on what your actual goals list showed. If it wasn't at 40 then you won't get the pop-up & reward. Could be a new fix as well. Won't know until you submit a ticket.
