What do you guys think about the idea of you earning interest on the amount of money you have in your bank?

Due to the fact that there's people with billions banked, there's no way this could ever be fair.

Even just 1% interest per day on 1 billion is $10,000,000 - and it'd probably be a little higher than that or else players with low amounts of banked money would be complaining at how it doesn't get them anywhere. Now I know people could also make an argument by saying high IPH players don't even bank - but that's not anywhere near a "valid" argument since there are still lots of players out there who use the bank to store millions upon billions.

i dont bother banking anymore, since i have no bank charge of 10% modifier its more cost efficient for me to walk around with my hundreds of millions and risk losing a few hundred thousand here and there instead of 100million when i deposit a billion. Interest on deposited money might inspire me to bank it but than what would be the purpose of charging the 10% they do?

Daily ROR for buildings and upgrades on a daily basis drops below 1% at around the MT7-MT8. Interest on bank holdings would make building and upgrading almost worthless (assuming daily bank interest of 1%), thus destroying pretty much the entire mid- and end-game. Essentially the strategy would be camp, build 2xNC2, bank all cash, done. All other buildings and upgrades would just become overpriced decorations.

Sorry - ROR = Rate of Return. Expressing percentage return on investment. I developed my own spreadsheets before I found these forums, and I use investment terminology for most of my values.

Definitely one of my favorite modifiers. I got that in the top 10/100 Android only event. The number of items needed for the Android only events were MUCH lower than the regular events. I believe I had 80 something items and ended up in the top 10. The top 100 prize was 5% deposit fee and I believe that number of items was around 20!

I also have 33% off upgrade times and 30% upgrade costs! I should have another 10% off upgrade times but Gree screwed me on the Android pvp event.
