I've not had one either but I've had exploding pigskins for over 24 hrs..
I'm just assuming the pvp event has already started for me as well

The math for free players:
If you are agent or goodfella class, you get 1 stamina every 2 minutes 42 seconds. That's 22 per hour, 528 per day, if you use every last bullet. Over a three day tournament, with full/100% dedication you can hope for 1,584 wins (if you never lose!) plus whatever you get from level up refills.

Sure, that's 1,584 ST that you'll get in 72 hours (actually 1 ST every 162 seconds, so over 72 hours 1600 ST on the dot). If you started with full ST, that's probably another ~120, so 1,700 or so. If you played it perfectly, never letting ST fill up and winning all the time you'd need to buy 60 gold worth of ST refills in the perfect case.

My personal estimation is I'll let my ST fill up for no more than 3 hours a day (eh, I'm not waking up to play this game.) It takes just a little more than 6 hours for my ST to fill up (tried to sync that to NC collection times...). I blind attack and don't remember who has a gillion DF, so lets call it a 95% success ration. In 3 days, my guess is I'll get 1330 wins. Gold basically buys you another 2 hours 15 minutes for this event. So I'd have to buy say 15 ST refills to be on the safe side. 150 gold for a 1,000 AT item? Maybe. If this event ran for another day I'd still have to use gold but might get away with tapjoy amounts.

If I'm on track monday mid morning, might do it. I'd rather have seen a more worthwhile prize at 1,000 wins rather than 500.

I'm just thankful for one thing - that this event is not happening during a box open event. I've been through 2 other events while the box events were going on, and I'd finish with about 300+ boxes O.o'

Maybe gree could design an event for unopened boxes as well.. The event ends and you cash in each unopened box for 1 gold brick.. Waddya reckon cj54

We already know from the RPG crates being visible that they do keep track of how many crates we have. I don't think they'll give us gold for free though - somebody has to be making money somewhere in order for gold to go out there. The only exception for that is the devs giving it our for competitions.

I do agree with you.. However I think it can make money for gree.. It would give incentive to a lot of players who are quitting and also once they get a taste of a little free gold they might try buying some..
Or maybe they could use the unopened boxes as a discount on purchasing gold..
Just an idea to keep cc from becoming too stale..

You have to manually keep track of your wins total. You can count up from the fights you originally had before you started attacking people by looking at your profile. Take your wins before you start the event, and add your goal. When you reach that total you should have enough for your item.

The easiest way to do it is Take a screen shot of your fight wins.. Once you have 500 more wins you qualify for the 1st item. And so on.. There is no goals list

We've, or at least I, have been suggesting that since the first PvP event. If GREE is looking for an update, that's probably the way to go. This way, as soon as you complete the goal - you get the item immediately. No waiting at all.

I for one will definitely be going for the 2000 prize. Like Big Bad Wolf said, even 100-150 gold (if needed) isn't that bad considering I've seen some LE items for 900-1000 gold and have stats like 300-A 150-D and on top of that if you do get 2000 wins, you're also getting the 500 wins prize as well right? To each their own but I'm gong for it!!! Good luck everyone!
