I got the 10 prize on my other account yesterday. The method I use is wait the hour and gold open. Actually I started with cash opens till about 5, got frustrated with BLNTs and used gold opens from then on. Cost me a total of 150 gold. Good luck to all going for it... It was one prize I definitely wanted.

Done... I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Game, and still no Event on the HD Version :-(
simply solution dont use the HD version, download regular version.
I definitely understand and respect people going for iph stat. I guess I'm definitely biased toward att/def being more important to me. Just wondering if people with high iph are able to use that for improving their ability in pvp. Sorry for the off topic.

Got my ten with cash only. I like the bonus that the flamethrower gives. Sure makes upgrading a lot cheaper.
Just got my 10th. Did 9 with (mostly) cash and spent gold to reset/open 9 add'l cases to get my 10th. ~350g spent on whole event.
This is the 2nd time I've ever spent gold on an event, first was to get my Striker Minigun. I strongly agree with the prior posts that these are by far the most time and cost saving bonuses, with the Loaded Dice upgrade speed increase being a close second. So if you're an econ person and can afford the gold, this is definitely the item to get.
Looking forward to that sweet, sweet 51% discount on my next NC upgrade...

It's a good argument, Intrance. For me, econ building is the only sustaining challenge left in this game. It's not about the IPH stat so much as it's about getting the most out of my hood. The extra income does help in PVP as it unlocks the high-end cash items in the store, the most important of which being the Sarin Grenades and Land Mines, the best explosives available in game.
