Whew! Almost done with 34(S). I've gotten really lucky with the drop steps and have only had to kill an enemy one time to get what I needed to drop and that was back in the beginning when I was one hit killing stuff. Looking forward to getting that Order Scepter, too! Here's hoping I can time it right and get all 40 without having to buy any gems!

By whole quest do you mean both the standard and hero levels? Or just standard? Cause I'm on 36/40 standard and haven't spent a dime. I likely will finish the standard.

I realy wonder that can you really finish it freely.. Cause after 36 quests become really hard

It's all in how you strategize, Serboy.

I just started 35(S) myself.

I'm on #31 ATM, #34 is my goal for the weapon upgrade, anything after that is cherry on the cake for me. Lol

I'm 1 hit away to finish 37 normal, I have 194 hs and it took maybe 15 hits to get this one

damn in still on 31, i started about 8 hours late.. damn i should have checked this forum before i go to bed..

hopefully i can get to 36 for free (warrior weapon).. better if can get thru 40 (seems impossible)

hopefully quest 33 with the random drop will not be evil to me..

did like 25 kills on the last maddox event and still didnt get the final piece eventhough..

It seems to me the random dropping creatures now have a 100% loot drop.
Any other experience?

Nope. I'm on the early stages of the heroic quests and a few have taken 2 or 3 to get the needed loot item.

Oh ok. Not sure. Haven't really paid attention to that.

True...but it's not what we really want. I think the idea of having 10-15 monsters with one of them that ultimately has the item is a better model for players, no matter which way you look at it it makes for better gameplay. You could still face the fact of having to defeat all 15 before receiving the item but at least you can visualise the end.
Unfortunately for me, quest 27 took me 22 kills to get the drop...totally killed me as I've lost a fair bit of time but I'm sitting on quest 34 now so hopefully I can do it in these last 2 days. Imagine being the poor bugger that had to kill over 20 enemies before recieving the desired loot item each time they faced this type of battle in a LTQE... Yes yes, we'd all laugh a little but it wld suck being that person.

Anyway, can't wait to do quest 40 and take a break from all this incessant clicking.

Normal or Heroic? Trust me. Each energy refill got me ~4-5 hits on #40. You can't possibly want to wait for something like that, can you?

Just hit #27(H). Whew for 2 more days. I may actually burn through this whole mountain though.

Had to kill 6 royal guards on quest 38 normal for them to drop the quest reward, they have 350 health and each hit costs 126 energy -24 when u get hit
