I recently started a Faction called Iraq & Afghan War Veterans. I was surprised when I had gotten a response like I did. A group of veterans that came right in and started working well together. We are not the strongest but it was unbelievable how everyones stats started improving using everyones experiences in this game. Which now brings me to this post. I figure there are many MW players here that have served or are still serving who relax from real war to play war. sounds kinda funny huh? I love playing this game but I am not happy with some of the crap I see playing the game expecially when it comes to issues, bugs, and how much real money it costs to play this game. And it seems that if u are not a money player they care even less. What Im looking to see how many of us are out here playing MW.

There are many veterans here from all branches and from different branches from other countries. It is interesting once you get to know the many different players and their expieriances. Careful there or a few idiots that
Like to hide behind their anonymity and disrespect your time in service..but they always fall by the wayside. I have spent a lil $$$ on this game and have had pretty descent success. I pretty don't expect to much from here as it is a game.. The up side is the acquaintances I've come to know over the last year...I am already in a faction but will send to an invite either by pm or in game.....Semper Fi & of course. game on.

Bless you guys and gals! I was 'born' in the air force. Sister and younger brother Army. Older brother Marines. Father 3 tours of Southeast Asia... Me, nominations to the Air Force Academy and West Point. What did I do? Played football at UNM! Should have gone to the Point!

Thanks for your post, i also met some really nice vet in my faction, i served in the Canadian Air Forces as a mechanic, weapons specialist, EOD. Served in the first Gulf war, Bosnia and Kosovo.

I'm ex-Army...82d Airborne Division. Joined during Desert Storm, but you boys took care of business so well, I didn't go over.

Hi Koz, yes I misunderstood the distinction of Veteran from the US military vs the form/ game. However, I have the deepest respect for the true Veterans out there. My father was a Vietnam vet with bronze star honors....now deceased since 2000. All the best, and thanks for your service.....

Thanx everyone for your posts. I was completely unaware that there are so many of us here playing this game. Thank you everyone that has served as well and to the heros that are no longer with us. I am proud that I served and everyone that has, no matter what country they call home(bad guys exempt) I consider brothers and sisters. No one else could even comprehend what everyone of us experienced. My injuries caused me to retire, I know nothing about being a civilian. My wife says I'm bad at it. Lol. For the past 3 years I've tried but no ones word seems to mean anything and the lack of discipline and honor has had me stumped. To me a handshake means something and my word and integrity means everything. Prior to my wounds I have known nothing but war for almost 7 years. On 5 tours. But with 3 great kids and a wife who knows and has been there thru the nightmares and mood swings. Btw she served 8 years. So I enjoy playing this game and meeting many ppl with similar experiences for other countries. And the most important thing.......the game doesn't shoot back and my iPhone isn't going to friggin explode!

Welcome Koz. There are many veterans and former military playing the game and posting here. If you post a little more info about where you are and your branch/unit, you may find a neighbor on here! It has happened. Your location says New York, Fort Drum maybe? There are players/forumites there.
