New LTQ Event: Help the Keeper

I usually just double click the home button and kill off Kingdom Age from the bottom of the iPhone screen. Apart from that, if you've already PvE'ed then try raiding and attacking someone once to see if anything happens.
If that doesn't work then you might have to swear a bit and try it all again in 20 minutes.

I'm suffering from a Prancer / Cupid invasion at the moment.

What level are you? I think the boss event starts at level 6? 10? If you are below that it will not trigger. If above that try PVP instead of PVE. Sometimes that works

I got the event yesterday, but it's taken me a day just to trigger Frost Miser. I finally got it after draining my energy a few times. Grr.

When doing these boss events do you only take the units to battle based on your alliance amount or can you stock up on extra units to aid yourself?

For boss events this is the way,

Go full ally.
Buy highest attack unit you have at your disposal.
Buy highest attack weapons you can afford.

Also remember boosts from boost buildings don't count in your attack power on the boss, only raw attack.

Just got the Keeper of the Herd on my 17th Boss... Now to decide if it's worth going to 30 and gaining all the exp on my LLP or just stopping at 20... Seeing as how I can probably get to 29 without gems, but if I level up a few times those extra allies may just give me the push to the 30th boss.

Congrats everyone currently who got the Keeper of the Herd. Luck was on our side. Good luck to all who are struggling for that 1, or 2 or 3 reindeer. I know it's tough and nerve wrecking at times and irritating and confidence shattering. Just keep your composure and don't wreck your iphone, ipod or ipad by losing your temper. What an event.

For boss events this is the way,

Go full ally.

Congrats Roto and King. That's awesome. Just cleared Boss 20 and still lacking 2 rares and an UC. Given that I've never got all the loot drops in previous events, I'm not holding out too much hope for this one but it sure would make a nice Christmas prezzie.

Max allies = your level X 5

Max ally at your level is your level multiply by 5. eg. L70, max ally is 70x5=350 allies.
350 allies means 350x3=1,050 units you can bring to battle, 1,050 weapons, 1,050 armor you can bring to battle.
