Question Involving uncompleted goals

Just a quick questing involving goals that I have yet to complete but I know to exist...
Do I still get the rewards for these goals if I have already completed them before they are on the "Goals" sheet? For example: Decorations. I have well over 100 (hooray for boredom) and am curious if I still get credit for completing the goal or if it is simply skipped and no credit is given.

You popped off too early - premature completion.
