Cool HL-- The Ecosystem from 1 B.C.E to lvl 200 C.C.

With the sun's rays pulsating down toward the shores of earth, we find ourselves face to face with one of the worlds most interesting ecosystems...Crime City B.C.E. As we observe from fossil remains, historic notes and modern day research, we take this plunge in time to understand the dynamics of such a complex system.

On the beach we have the baskers...simple and reserved, they can be found loving the heat from the sun, while enjoying this game as it comes. No worries, no fuss. These players tend to be stress free and are rarely found checking their shoulders for enemies and predators. IT is very common for these types to make careless mistakes such as buying the gold currency mansion, or doing story missions.

The shallow water fish...Here we see an energetic breed of players, interested in fun with friendly competition. Often times oblivious to their surroundings, they may often times venture out into the depths (blind attacking) and find encounters of a fourth kind. Yet still, they are generally happy and joyful. Every once in a while, they become prey to animals usually found in deeper waters, yet these attacks are not common. They usually hunt around pizza shops, ice cream shops, gun shops and the occasional chinese restaurant.

A bit further out and we begin enroaching on sporting ground. Here there are schools of fish swimming together in unison. Often times these types of players are nothing more than a number. Considered to be wanderers, having left the nutrient rich grounds of the shoreline in their quest for success and progression. Many times it is here that players tend to die of starvation (boredom) and sink to the oceanic plains where the skeletal remains of many can be found...perfectly preserved in the CC sands. But even amoungst the many, there are subtle dangers. Here we can find false predators, luring curious animals in with bright lures, cloaked with hopes of 1,000 gold if you bite on their CC ID. Do not be fooled like the other prey who has added upward of 1,000 ID's with nothing to show for it.

As we begin to lose sight of the shore line, we roll upon the great drop off. Here we encounter animals of massive size and stature along with hard headed juveniles. Opportunity comes once in a while which breeds oportunistic hunger (lvl 175). Out here where the end meets the beginning, tales of deep sea creatures have been told from nation to nation, where once in a while attacks spawn pools of blood (red newsfeed) to those who weren't expectin it. Out here, tentacles from even greater depths can rise up to snatch new victims in blazing attacks, consisting of 10 bites...0 body remaining (10-0 baby). Only then can a person encounter for themselves exactly what is fact and what is fiction.

And finally we have the final frontier. A place loomed in the appearance of success, only to attract the weary, courageous and foolish to its mouth (lvl 200). Out here there is no prey, only predator. Animals so large, and numbers in the many, it is hard to survive without instinct and the desire to hunt. Out here it is survival of the fittest...adapt or be assimilated into the fallen. However, as the mystery of the depths can sometimes claim the lives of these monsters, they can become exposed to rapid tide shifts, where animals of the shallow gain visibility into the depths (bracket glitches). However, if these shore animals fail to succeed in gaining a meal, they can open themselves to serious predation!

But, no matter how we examine this ecosystem, we are all adrift in the eternal tide that is the one way street to lvl 200 C.C.

Well written G, just what I was thinking. I'm in the sporting ground at present. But one of the 1000 gold offers must be real so I'll just try them all, and copy and paste them on 15 walls each

We've carried the knowledge for generations. I'm kind of the Black Sheep of the family. I follow the the Diceman theory: I'm in, I'm out, I'm sleeping

Back on topic G: Great post and an interesting outlook on bracketing. You were around when 200 could see down to the 80's, maybe below. I remember thinking "why can't I see level 40's?" Can't Imagine how many beatings I'd take right now with 50k stats at level 200

boy I sure do remember the shark tank being a whole lot more shallow than it is today. Time fly's nonetheless and figured Ill give these new members a look into the past.

Funny thing about time is that its preserved in the players

Question about the HL, aka the Shark Tank.

You read so much and more of how you will be eaten alive in the HL, how you will be prayed upon if you don have A/D of 1 mill, and all kind of scare tactics. Yet, you also read about people leveling up fast and arriving the HL with A/D of less than 35/40 K but still make a decent living there. Off course with those stats you WILL get bullied given the chance but if you keep a low profile there doesent seem to be a problem.

With my stats (38/54K) and because of all the scare tactics im a bit worried of reaching the HL, but on the other hand the only building i am missing is the Casino and i have to be Lvl 185 to build it, and building the Casino is still one of my reaching points, so im also urging to level up fast.

So my question is: How "bad" is it really for the players with "low" A/D?
I mean, if you collect on time, and lay low, there will not be many reasons for people to attack you.

I want that Casino, two times!

If you cannot stand being robbed and attacked , then don't play this game , stats loses are meaningless .

while a whole game long they wanted to make it meaningfull , sadly in the HL .
unless you are top spenders , you are simply put going to be bullied on .
So just simply follow the guide don't say a thing , play your own game .
Or spend like crazy to be top dogs , even then there will always be a alpha wolf who can outspend you.

Look they know the HL is scaring off customers , and the boredom sets in there .
atleast the Indians try to make the game fun for themself
Sorry the game is based on social interaction and confrontation , this is not farmville or my little pony .
And a lot of people you see while leveling up , who think they are top dogs .
Find themself in a different game at HL CC . since nowhere to run .

There are definitely two different Shark Tank experiences, dependent on the route you take in game...

    1. You are in a gang or a mob, so are a target of the other mobs, you will be hit over and over without let up, you will not be able to collect your buildings unless on timer, and your News will be a constant see of red. You won't be able to keep money on hand, and basically your stress level will be on red alert constantly (unless you don't care about losing). You will also be a target if you have been spouting off on the forums or walls and have upset people you shouldn't have - Mob Up or Abuse in Haste, Repent at Leisure

    2. You are a regular player, with no gang affiliations, haven't upset any strong players, and are just doing your thing. In which case the Shark Tank will not be the nightmare you read about - most strong players are too busy fighting amongst themselves to worry about you.

2 is what is happening troughout the whole game , those people just see it as a game .
But when some of them hit the sharktank , they realise the game is futile .

The regular players without a name are the ones who survives the best in the sharktank , they are so used to being robbed attacked , to them sharktank don't mean a thing .
They just ignore all wall comments , and consider everybody none excistance
So in the end to them this is a singleplayer game .
