It's merely on victories. The event you're referencing was specifically "on different players". This is simply "most victories".

They grey area is does that count as robberies? Those are PVP victories too D:

600 wins is way too much for a armor with low stats and no boosts

We don't get anything for the players who can complete these events with little to no gold


IF I had something to shoot for...like a stat increasing item I would be more inclined to buy gold once in a while in case I need it for an event just to get me closer to that magical item...but I have nothing to shoot for if it's just a beatstick.

I am not and never a gold player, I still WON the Blood Ripper from the last PVP 1 year anniversary event. I am very positive about this event too.

That was way different. The anniversary event was "most successful attacks against different players", and there was no official clarification so it's possible that a lot of contenders didn't qualify because they didn't spread out their attacks.

When it's straigt quantity of wins, the top X number of big spenders buying stamina refills will be fighting for a top 10 spot. Back when they ran the Underboss PVP tournament there weren't a whole lot of free players in the top 50, iirc.

I would be willing to bet that the players who already know about this event and intend to try for top 10 already have their 600 wins.

Well the general idea of my post was the auction events have top 250 item with no stats increase while only the extreme gold spenders can get the top 25 item. Even with a little gold I managed to get my only stat item...the street demon from the first event which was top 500.
