Sell 1 hour buildings?

Would you sell your one-hour buildings? Here's my situation:

I have 2 level-2 Beach Nightclubs ($3851/hr x 2) and 2 level-1 Adult Movie Theaters ($3851/hr x 2). I recently started a $40 million expansion, but truthfully, I don't NEED the space. I don't plan on building anymore money buildings until the Casino opens and I have ample space for the 30 or so Missile Turrets I plan to build.

I don't have consumable explosives, so that's not a concern either. However, I like to put only a few buildings on each block and try to make my hood look attractive. I feel like the one-hour buildings are taking up space and throwing off the feng shui of my hood.

Would you sell or keep? Why?

What's your current iph? No point asking how often you collect as I imagine it's pretty much every hour anyway just like most of the rest of us

Paulio, you are further in the game than I, but I hate the one hour buildings. I have the sports bar for the stupid goal of reaching L10, but it's just that, a goal. With work, and no cell reception here, it's hard to worry about the 1 hour buildings. Personally, I'd say to sell, recoup half the money, and make your town look nice with whatever else you want to add. To each, their own

it depends on if you are on most hours to collect them and if they really make much of a difference and would drop your money a lot if you did get rid of them,

depending on your answers to these questions you decide to keep or delete

@Olly, cuurent iph is $670409. I hate the the one-hour buildings give me a false sense of iph

@Dr B, that's part of the problem. $40 million for the current expansion, so I assume the next will be well over $50 million. Also, both buildings are kinda ugly, don't ya think?

At that IPH they're verging on completely useless. My IPH was half that a couple of weeks ago and I sold similar buildings to redecorate and go for a spacious look. I haven't noticed any physical decrease in my income at all. Wish I'd have done it sooner to be honest

My thinking was it'll cost peanuts to get them back if I ever changed my mind so it's not set in stone.

I have my 1h buildings so as to open the event boxes...Plus, I do not have to unbank money...

I would keep them...

If you're a numbers person, those 4 buildings combined only make up 2.3% of your IPH as well.

You have to consider that nudie is a regular customer to these adult theaters...Do not delete them...

I did a $7M upgrade the other day just so I could write "mxz" in Mailboxes. Didn't want to delete my useless buildings, yet. All comes down to personal preference...some like their hood crowded with lots of buildings, but I can see why asthetically pleasing hoods would want them gone.

See I really don't get that logic of using the 1 h buildings to open boxes and so you don't unbank money. I mean, I see the mathematical logic but in the grand scheme of things that minute amount of money and the 10% fee attached to that small amount of money is meaningless. You can bank your 1h money 100 times over and barely notice it when you're on a high IPH.

It's not a true image of your real IPH in my opinion and never make enough money to have any significant impact

Edit: gold 1h buildings are slightly different. I have some crappy gold buildings I won't ever sell regardless of their income.

Sell. The next expansion IS $50M and those buildings ARE ("kinda") ugly.

I do suggest keeping at least enough 1h buildings to cover the cost of opening event boxes. You don't have to, but it is convenient. I have a single Modern Loft to do that job. When there is no event I collect it as much as I can until it gets robbed and then I just let it sit uncollected until the next event. Sure the ML isn't exactly a great looking building either, but it has a purpose.

Since you already have an AMV I would say maybe to keep one and upgrade it to level 4. Or you could sell everything and get a Modern Loft to level 5, but the AMV has cheaper upgrades and only needs to be taken to level 4.
