Lost event after update

So I've just updated Crime City as there was an update available and I've lost the event. It has completely disappeared which damages my chances of doing well even more as again like every other event I received it later because I'm using Android. Anyone else having the same issue?

Open and shut the game a few times this usually helps. All the info is still there.
