    Testing The Waters and Hackers

    Would anyone - or does anyone - have a spare device that is not running CC? or is but don't care?

    I think someone (I would do it, but I only got 1 device) should set up an account (preferably on android, as it seems to be the easiest to hack) and hack the game and then report "yourself" (obviously be as discrete about this as possible) and see how your hacker account is dealt with and how long it takes and then report back to the forum...

    What say you?

    Preferably a "legit" forum member do this...

    If no one is up for the task... I'll go on craigslist and buy a used android phone and do it... but it will be in a couple of months...

    I think this will put many doubting members to ease because I strongly believe Funzio WILL do something about it *knock on wood*

    i read in a MW thread last night that some people already do this and report the hack or glitch and it never gets fixed

    My first thought is that isn't this something funzio should currently be doing. What you are essentially describing is making yourself a white (or is it grey) hat hacker for the game. Given the recent posts linking to hacking sites, I can't imagine funzio not having some kind of quality control in place that is looking for these.....

    I would hope this is the case...

    To truly test the theory... One would need to be a moderate gold spender AND hack/cheat/glitch. I am fairly certain the free players that have hacked/cheated/glitches can be easily dealt with. However when real money is involved there is a slippery slope.

    There's even more variables than that, I'm afraid. There's differing types of cheats (money, items, time hacks), and there are probably varying ways to do these. Some may be easier to detect than others and/or be dealt with differently.

    i'm not a hacker. there was an error in my favour when i bought a building. now i have two constructing at the same time, which is an error too. i got a free office building worth 24 million lol
