New event format? Ha. I'm done with events. It's not even worth playing now unless you spend gold, which I will not do. I have 6 chips and 6 pointless money prizes of $10-50k. The amount of XP I've levelled up just to get those safes wasn't worth it at all. It would be more beneficial for me to camp for a few weeks, which I will now do. I will ignore all future events.

Seriously, if you idiots keep spending hundreds, if not thousands, if not tens of thousands of dollars a month on this game, the quality of this game will continue to deteriorate. Funzio are barely even trying to disguise the shameless leaching of you frankly retarded players anymore. The current event literally screams "WHOEVER SPENDS THE MOST REAL MONEY WINS LOL HEY DID YOU SEE THAT OTHER GUY HE SPENT MORE THAN YOU SPEND SOME MORE TO MAKE SURE YOU BEAT HIM".

The only possible reasons why you would spend that much gold on an imaginary item on a mobile game are:

1. You are a multi-millionaire. Fair enough. Have fun. You have more money than sense.
   
2. You have a genuine medical addiction to the game and are wasting a lot of your monthly income to fund it.
   
3. You are straight up retarded.

If you spend a lot of gold, look at the above options. Pick one. That's you.

There are no other options. If your argument is "I find it fun so I don't see it as a waste of money", congratulations you come under point #2 and are in denial. if you think the hundred bucks can bring you some quick way of progress in game, then you are completely type#2.
Those bucks will only get you to a new level of obsession, by then you will gradually lose control on spending trying to keep the "advance" you've created.

More time spending and more money burnt, that's what you will end up with.

Mig,but since we players meet each other at forum(no place in RL can do that), we should appreciate and encourage each other actually.
At least I know I'm sick even as a free player,just look how "senior" I am at this forum and English is not even my first language(my posts would triple if in my own language lol)
The reason I will never spend money on this game is that I can walk away easily when life needs me.

For those spenders and highly obsessed free players, we more or less drifted away a bit from real life, just trying to find a place hang out and spend times with someone with common interests,we understand and tolerate any type of #2 gamers.(No no no, not type #3 !)

True enough, but if the game cost a small amount instead would it have a massive impact on the numbers playing? It'd still be a great game and only the tightest of wads would run away. On the other, up-side there wouldn't be the now entrenched divisions between the seemingly super-rich, and those who are happy to spend moderate sums together with those who either can't afford or won't pay for the monetary arms race.

If they charged a flat fee for the app in the first place, I would buy it. If they had to remove gold and said "Sorry, we can't afford to run this game for free" and closed it, that would be fine because it's just a game and I'd find another game to play.

Don't hate just because I'm not stupid enough to throw my monthly wages on a regular basis to the fat cats at Funzio. They just keep making more and more *Donate Your Real Money Here* features, and people are all "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!" before they can even get the words out.

I don't blame Funzio. If I was the game developer, I'd keep cleaning all the suckers out of their money too but it's really not much different from running a betting shop or a casino. They are openly preying on addicts and barely even bothering to disguise the fact that they want you to blow hundreds or thousands of gold to gain some new imaginary weapon that, on its own, will barely even give you any advantage over anyone in this imaginary world of CC.

My point is they will keep pushing the limit of how greedy they can be until people finally curb their spending. But while so many idiots keep spending thousands of dollars a year on this game, they have no reason to stop making shameless money-grabbing additions or even try to hide their intentions.
