I used 40 (60? don't remember exactly, but not more) gems on day 1 in the first 2 hours. Otherwise, all the middle option. Do I really think 60 - 80 gems made a difference? No. I got lucky! And ended in top 500 with 22.Originally Posted by Tate

I would say yes that the gems helped.
As a free player i made it to 18 vials and beleive that had i taken the option of gems I would have been able to get the last 2 vials to make it to top 500.
