Imagine this... You spend whole days living with the hope to save for new Lender building... Then big daddy comes and takes 14k from you. What do you say? F... He's a good guy... Then you tap "revenge"... And you see 18 levels difference! Something is really f...ed up with the battle list. Can someone more knowledgeable in the game explain this?

First of all, never hit the revenge button. 99% of players have a higher defense than attack, and if that persons attack is higher than your defense then its almost guaranteed that his defense is going to be higher than your attack. Secondly, I'm assuming that this game is similar to MW in that there is a threshold that once you cross you share a rivals list with all the top players and I assume that threshold is lvl 50 although I haven't gotten there yet

The person that attacked might be attacking you out of revenge. If you attack someone, this person can see you on there News feed. If nobody attacked them for a while, your battle with him or her might remain in his News section.
Hell, that person can improve up to the last level and he can still attack you if your battle is still on his News feed.
Probably has something to do with the rivals list since it is pretty hard to level up that fast in the higher levels and to keep you on his news feed that long.
The level 74 that attacked you may have a low number of allies & can therefore see you on his rivals list, or at level 56, you have a high number or maxed allies and can be seen by the upper levels... But you won't get them on your rivals list, only on your news if they attacked or robbed you.
This is an old issue in CC: there are not enough high level (HL) players to populate their own rivals list, so the HL list dips all the way down into the upper 140's & 150's thru level 200: the higher levels have a very wide range. 200 is the last level; in KA, it is currently 75.
The bottom range of the HL rivals list seems to be moving up as many more players level up. I'm guessing the same is true with KA. Just another mystery... nobody really knows exactly how the rivals list is produced, but there are some good theories in the CC forum.
