I just got the thing a few minutes ago and used no gold! Was this event longer? I think this one went 7 days instead of 5 or 6. The extra day(s) made a difference for me if that's the case.

i open about 17-18 a day. i dont do anything except grab my phone every hour, open the game and open a safe
The extra day(s) also made this event more difficult I guess, just like the bossbag event, in which I stuck on 7 for 4 days and finally end up with 9 ( the 9th dropped from "Free Option" wtf)Originally Posted by <3 Hz

Did you kill the app and reopen before every try? Did you kill all other apps? (I know this is ridicules but works for me) Did you hold the button for more than three seconds? Sorry for so many questions but I'm just trying to share what I'm doing during the event.

im like you and get a bit superstitious, im sure most of us are. ive tried all those things you said. must just be my bad luck. ohwel its ony a game but i realy thought i would get it this time when i got my 9th with 4 days left
also i was aiming for 9 before the event but as i got 9 quite early i changed tactic lol. ahwel its all good

May be the only difference between us was that I tried a little more everyday...anyway it's just a game, wish you good luck next time...

I ended with 9 and I'm happy that I did not succumb and use gold. (I count that as a win)
