you guys who spend alot of gold, cant you just buy awesome weapons with gold ? why not just see these events as free bonuses and not spend gold on them, if you get the prizes, you get the prizes, if not, why dont you just spend your gold on sure things ?

Because 30% lower building upgrade costs is the best thing ever and can't be achieved any other way.

edit: By any other way, I do mean the event in general, not specifically by spending lots of gold on it.

Yep. But I'm hearing that this event is more like the emerald burner than the others - horrifically bad open rates and drop rates, even if gold is used. I heard someone used 65+ opens in a row with gold and didn't get a single document. That is kind of ridiculous. I'm thinking no gold for me this time - not worth wasting it on something with a sub-1% drop rate, even if it's awesome. Have to congratulate everyone that has been able or will be able to get one though.

since the new day i had 18 attempts so far and only 1 briefcase open and it was cash, im using medium option only, but my luck is bad. this almost the same as yesterdays had opportunity to try every hour with barely any success at opening.

im actually the wrong person to ask about gambling. i am playing online poker for real money as we speak right now, and im going to this years world series of poker , so yeah i gamble haha , but not on a game that has no return on my investment in the form of real money

CCM will say other wise. all in all it sux why sone people get it in 40 or 50 less when most dont get it in 100 plus trys, Cash or Gold. Its like going to a casino and the person who sat down next to you puts a $20 in the machine and wins the Jackpot. Still on 9 but have 1 more day to go.

It is worth then casino. It that case you have a chance to win real money. Here you've got to spend real money to get a chance (which you don't even know you have in the first place) to get some pretty pixels on your screen

It's all about luck.. I was stuck on 6 for three days (with cash), then took me 500 gold to get from 6-10. That was really lucky for being me, since I usually don't get away that cheap.
If it's rigged or not - I don't know, but it sure is strange that some needs to spend thousands of gold to get the item (or not get it), while some gets almost all of them for free. Maybe funzio keeps track of the members who usually spend gold and make it much harder for them, don't know :P but that's not impossible!

7/7 now same as Amber I presume , but last event one the bank buster was a burner for me .
This one was almost a give away to me , probaly would have gotten it , IF I had the PATIENCE one more day.

Thats all to it , but again hindsight and speculation doesn't count for anything .
Other to get my events items , I have to keep paying lol .
