I do have it registered with email, but I didn't hit transfer before phone crapped out. And no I don't already have cc game on iPad. I transfer it back and forth to when moving buildings around.

Then you don't have to worry at all just load IPAD CC hit transfer new device it should work .
You do not need to hit transfer game from old device .

you just in CC log in with your account details + email and pwd , hit transfer new device .
The data should load from the server after you restart CC again (close app and reopen , the id stays saved )

Are you talking iTunes? Then yes,

Ok what do you get if you open CC on the ipad a new toon ? or the old will from a day ago ? (that will be updated anyway cause everything is nowadays server side saved)

auch then you have to really wait for mark or cjm ...

cause seems your UID on the ipad has been cleared .. so you really need that hit the old device .
And then new device . shut down the app for now , so hold the apps button (square) , till the bar shows which active programs are running , then press minus for CC to shut it down .

look you can give it a last try by downloading CC iphone version on Itunes , put in the funzio id etc . shutdown the apps really shutdown , reopen it and hit transfer new device .

But I think you really need mark or cjm to do this one . so try to go to KA forums .
They are more active there . and use caps is appropiate .
