Has no affect on units. But does lower construction costs. Think it starts at 1% and fully upgraded 10% if not mistaken. So if you had a fully upgraded cement factory and were about to purchase a building for 100,000 the cost would be 90,000 but for a 1,000,000 building the cost would be 900,000 and so fourth.. But it's only really worth it if you plan on upgrading the factory a lot. Hope this helps.

Sorry. Don't let me ruin you on the idea. Because a lot of ppl think it's worth it. But I sold mine 2 weeks after it came out. But if money is a issue and in the long run it would be worth it.Originally Posted by Selfproclaimed
Way I see it the money you save with lower upgrades will pay for the upgrading of cement factory in long run, so doesn't really matter just if you want it on your base.

When you first get it, and are buying lower end buildings, I don't think it makes sense to spend the coin to upgrade from 1-2%, etc (plus it is probably way over your vault limit anyway). It's pretty expensive to upgrade. However, even the 1% cost savings early on pays for itself fast and I would assume when you start erecting buildings that cost $1M+ the cost of upgrading it is worth it. Even if you never upgrade it, I think it's worth buying long term.
It's a very good idea to upgrade this as fast as you can, mines at level 6 now and you would be surprised how much it saves you.

I'm at level 59. Income is at 145g per hr. Vault is at 7.5,soon to be max. Attk 9055 def 9400. I've been playing quickly through the levels but am realizing that if I'm gonna want a chance in the higher levels ,that I'm gonna have to just camp for AWHILE . So I figured I wanna pretty much nearly max everything out,money buildings,def,boost before I move up the levels. Just not sure if cement upgrade savings is major. I came across a player named ice nation,lv59 $400+ gs per hr. Attk. 25gdef 25g. Had had $115,000,000. That's the most money ive seen a player have so far.
