I hate when I lost fights while I am sleeping or out of the game so I use to level up my defence points.
Also I rather prefer to kill monsters because I dont lose troops that way (you can call me coward :P) so I also spend points in strength my hero.
Stamina... Well , it is also important to get the "quest", I have 7 stamina (i am still level 20)
Hero Strength increases the damage you do when fighting monsters. 2 Points of Hero Strength = 1 Additional Damage.
I have 20 points in attack/def and 12 in stamina, the rest go into hero strength. The more damage, the less energy spent, more loot gained, defense+attack rise. win win win win win situation.

81 attack, 1 defense, 15 stamina, and 15 hero strength.
Putting most in defense for now. I can pick my battles when attacking but never know the strength of people attacking me. Plus in the beginning the pickings for attacking are lush and you don't need a lot of strength. Could change quickly though.

Ya Im thinking the hero points may be the way to go for the most part. Faster loot which equals higher stats and more money
maybe 50 stamina and the rest into Hero Strength for me. I found 50 stamina seemed about right in their other games.

Is energy fixed as I don't see how to increase it or does hero strength compensate?
The effect of that isnt to raise energy. It is to raise damage, energy only goes up with leveling up. Read my Guide in my signature for more info.Originally Posted by Big John

Going even between defense and hero strength. Each level, 2 points to HS and 1 to defense. Seems to be working for now
