1 thing I really hate.
1. Stealing tonyspaghettti's sig idea.
So far I've noticed that a mage gets all units a little cheaper and all of a warriors expansions take less time
I picked warrior, but it hasn't seemed to help much in my PVP battles

I feel like an outcast, I'm a Warrior. As for the OP's question, as of right now with the knowledge I have gained, I don't remember if there is a benefit from what you chose other than if you like the class or not. Don't remember if there are any perks attached to each class. Can CCM or L Fizzle perhaps fill in the gap for me?

As stated elsewhere it affects the weapon & armor you equip when fighting PVE. The loot drop items are usable for PVE only if they match your class. Otherwise they are equipped by your army. So as a warrior my best weapon is a 10/6 devastating spear, even though I have an 11/5 Elemental Key, I can't equip it for PVE because that weapon is more mages. My army can still use it in PVP though.
Ahhhh finally some info for you guys! I can't remember what the difference was for a rogue tho.....
