I came in on the last event with 1 day left, It seemed fun though. I do enjoy the event now. Missing out on the previous events adds to the excitement of this one.
Diamonds - 10 (~500 gold)
Emeralds - 9 (~1400 gold)
Contrabands - 7 (60 gold)
Every event starts as fun, because you collect the contrabands/diamonds/emeralds very quickly.. but at the end, it just seems like a scam. I'm stuck for 2,5 days now at 8 contrabands and even with gold, I have got only RP, weapons and cash. Come on Funzio, at least give us a present when we open 20 bags in a row with no contraband.

Usually I use the cash option (medium).
I know it's almost impossible to get 10 without gold, so I kinda happy when I reach the 7 diamonds\ Emeralds\ Contraband weapon.

1) Main Reward- good, drop rate- Good (maybe a bit to high), Event 10/10.
2) Main Reward- very good, drop rate- bad, Event 7/10 (to much differences from first event).
3) Main Reward- poor (with hope for changes), drop rate more like first event -Ok, Event so far 9/10.

I think all the events have been good.
Even better if you dont get frustrated and assume you have a right to win the final prize.
Unfortunately after spending so much gold on the second one I dont think I will spend any more gold on future ones. But I do have an itchy trigger finger and no self restraint at all!
Diamond 10/10 (had 9 no gold and went 62 hrs before dropping 470/650 gold) Overall good event
Emerald 7/10 (used some left over gold from previous event, looking back i should of went hard on gold for the reward )
Contraband 8/10 no gold, no desire ( wish we would of had the MW 20% faster upgrade time reward ) 71hr gap from Contraband 7-8
