Also happens to me because my phone plan has 2 gb data allowance after that they restict the speed at certain times and that the time I can neither connect to app store.

Contact iTunes Support. When I first started playing, back in late January, I was trying to buy gold and was getting the same error. I went so far as to go out to the store and buy iTunes gift cards and the same error would occur.
You have to contact iTunes support. I contacted hardware support and they contacted iTunes support with me and they were able to resolve the issue.
Had about 1000 + bought vault of gold for £70
So about £140 in total I guess.
Wow, you all have a lot more disposable income than I do. Can someone send me some iTunes gift cards? Alms for the poor?
Nice, wish I was able to afford that too.
