New Ipad sharing UDID safe?

Hello everyone!

So I bought the new ipad pretty cool I'm amaze! I had the itouch 8gb 2 generation so I went from like Honda to Ferrarri lol well anyways I'm on level 111 and I would hate to loose my game progress I would like to transfer my game to the new ipad the problem is that I can't remember my password to transfer the game, I contacted Funzio support and I think is possible to tranfer but they are asking me for my ipad UDID and I read on the internet that is not safe to share the UDID so I'm doubting about it, what do you guys think?

true it not safe sharing your udid but I've emailed support which also had my udid number on the email and was fine.
