Attack and defense Question

I have gone through a bunch of post and can't figure out the answer to my question. I have two accts one for my iPad and one on my iPhone. One is level 20 with 300 more units then my level 27 but attack alliance is almost 300 less I don't understand

It depends on the number of allies you have and the strength of your units. At lvl 20 you can use 100 allies and bring 400 units to battle. At lvl 27 you can use 135 allies and bring 540 units to battle. So if you have more than the maximum usable allies and units on both accounts, your lvl 27 account is using 140 units more than your lvl 20 account and that might be why your lvl 20 account has 300 less alliance attack even though you have 300 more units.
