    Best use of respect points

I have devised a metric for best use of respect points. With my current inventory, the best way to increase attack is buying Tommy guns, and the best way to increase my defense score is with combat boots.

Right now, I'm level 75, so my 375th least powerful gun is a machine pistol, with 2A, 2D. If I buy a Tommy gun (10A, 6D), it knocks one machine pistol off the list of used items by my mafia, for a net gain of 8A, 4D. That means I get an increase of 1A for every 12.5 respect points (100R/8A). Using a similar metric for melee, armor, and vehicles, I get the following:

    .................A......D......R.......R/A.......R/D
    Tommy........8......4......100....12.5.....25.0
    Sawnoff......20.....12.....360....18.0....30.0
    Columbian.....9......8......200....22.2....25.0
    Serrated......10....17....400....40.0....23.5
    Chainwhip....23...18.....750....32.6....41.7
    C. boots.......3......4......50....16.7....12.5
    Night vision..14...14....300....21.4....21.4
    Full C. gear..15...25....800....53.3....32.0
    Mustang......5......3....125....25.0....41.7
    Yamaha......12....11....325....27.1....29.5

Thus, best way to increase attack with respect points is with Tommy guns, best way to increase defense with respect points is combat boots. Your results may vary, depending on your own inventory. This wouldn't work if I had 375 M4A1s, but as it is, I only have 7 at the moment. Try it out for yourself.

It's better to buy the high value items in the long run. It's been proven

Yep. I'm no longer using any of my Tommy Guns or Combat Boots, so those are just wasted respect points to me now (although I'm sure I needed them at the time).

My advice is to stock no more than 50 of each. The last thing you want is hundreds of unused Tommies at level 105.

My advice is to skip the Tommy Guns and low level Respect items in general and to sc**** into level 30 with a small mafia, really the smallest you can get away with specifically so that you don't need to blow all your Respect on rapidly obsoleted items. From there grow with the M4s. All along supplement with high-value cash equipment.

Used a lot of respect on yamahas, made sense at the time, but turned out to be a waste in the long run. I agree with Tramp Stamp on this one.

Actually I disagree on the Yamahas. They are not that easy to replace.

Weapons in the other categories are easier.

Chain whips are great, but steel garrotes are good too. Tommy Guns are decent, but M4s render them useless, NVGs are hard to replace too and trump boots big time.

I think Yahamas may be the last thing that gets phased out.

The Yamaha is the best vehicle to purchase for anyone with a low income. Once you're rich enough, buy fighter jets! lol

YH bikes are a waste...... Iv put a lot of thought into this and they are a huge mistake. But I don't mind if my rivals dont agree and keep on getting them.

Best would be the Night Vision - from a pure attack perspective in the long run you only lose 1 atk per item so 500 max, which isn't much in the long run!

I'm oscillating between NVG and Yams. The NVG look like a better longterm item but my current deficit is in vehicles so the Yams look like a pretty good option for now and the foreseeable future. I think I just need to rob more respect.
