Number of allies used in combat

Hi all
I play crime city a lot and in that game you ca only use 5x your level in battle.
So I'm level 8 I can use 40 mafia and each can bring 4 items = maximum 160.

So how can a level 6 have 137 items?
6x5 = 30 x 4 = 120 or am I missing something?

It's either that or a bugfix that went out today. Some people were using more units than they should have been.

They can have as many units as they like but can only take the set amount in to battle , you may have 100 units but if have 5 allies will take the best 20 of you units in to battle .
