Why are the Build Events Replaced with Alliance Wars

It looks like build events have been erased from the event calendar. Would the devs like to explain why?

The build event rewards were not so good and they already took away the limited missions during build. The long-term build limited mission is more than enough to make players build units, the rewards are awesome.

But the build events have been around for a long time. Personally I do think they got a bit boring with the calendar. Part of the fun was to try and guess the time of the next build event, destroy factories and so on....

Now the long term LTMs and the Build LTM within the campaign event is now removed.

This is a joke, please bring them back.
