    The issue is that no one fights the top teams if we (the small teams) know who we are facing. SA is pretty dull as is right now. A solution would be a quicker deploy regain so we don't have to wait a whole day to get full. There would be more battles and I'm sure more gold spend by the big teams, as we could challenge them more often. And just for the record, let's be able to farm demons again, please.

    That only works if a player is active after the battle has started.. names of syndicates next to a ayers name wont change unless the player you are following has deployed after the team has matched.. but even then.. sometimes they chamge name more than once after the start to try firther avoid detection.

    So the best option you have to have syndicate

    Meh, it works for us and we haven't had a problem knowing who we match.
    The top players in the top syndicates are always obvious on the Indy LB and can be easily tracked after a few battles into the SA event.

    Call me an idiot but isn't the simple solution for Gree, which already locks Syndicate membership during most "events", to simply LOCK Syndicate Name Changes for SA??? I bet somebody else already came up with this.

    Happy to see you're alive and well! I won't call you an idiot because it does seem like a simple solution (yes, it's been suggested, see #8) to lock syndicate names when syndicates are locked for specific events, but why should GREE deny syndicate leaders that want to use gold to change their name?


    I see this as a strategy... and not something that GREE needs to manage.
    I don't personally agree with it; mostly because I'm proud of my syndicate: our identiy is our name which means a lot to us. Using another syndicate's name is chicken, imho, but... *shrugs* ...oh well.

    As the saying goes, "All is fair in love & war", right? heh, it's kinda like "catfiishing" but instead of fooling others with a fake identiy, they're trying to fool rival syndicates. Understandably, players get upset when they are fooled, but not all of us are fooled.

    Now that most of us are award of this tactic, play smarter & don't be fooled.

    Enough times lol.. and yes we do check the codes and indi leaderboard as and when a match is made...

    But.....

    Thats where these teams now use changing names multiple times after a declare, specifically exploiting the fact that leaderboards & current matched teams will not change... thus rendering the common way of finding out who you may have , as useless... (in most cases)

    For you/your team.. this may not be a big deal. But for others who think they got a good old rivalry fight on there hands (THE REAL FUN) to be fooled using such an exploit in the programming , is and always will be... unfair. And yes it hurts the team to be powering through and get "blitzed" last minutes to find out after that said team has pockets so deep, nobody has a chance to win.. its not a strategy... its an exploit..

    Yes maybe less people will put up points against these teams.. but then without using such exploitive tactics.. to gain points 'unfairly', then they would have to spend gold to earn the top spots just like any other team does...

    Stopping this being allowed, by locking syndicate name changes during a locked event.. is the only 'FAIR GAMEPLAY' option... and that is a resonable request to demand/impliment..

    How is it unfair? It's a battle. If you don't want to face high spending teams then lay low for a couple days. Get cheap perfects and complete goals. Last day play for rank.

    Trickery is central to most conflicts. It's a part of life so why should the game be any different. GREE is also making money from it so don't expect it to change.

    People time and time again forget what this games name is... CRIME city. Crime involves screwing people and deceiving people.
    Changing a name is part of the deception of the event.

    So many people whine. More people hitting a node the more points you get if you win. If sas stays with their name people stand down which in return makes them not score as much. I don't blame them at all for name changing to trick people.

    Couldn't we say the same about SAS and other Top 10 teams whining that too many teams stand down to them if they fight as their true selves? The only difference is that THEY all get exactly what they want. As if GREE wouldn't earn that 50 gold elsewhere like on a refill. All of the other teams are expected to do all this extra detective work to play the game while those that have $ to burn can just be deceitful. Yes I understand the game is called CRIME city. But I think during locked events the name change option should be frozen and all teams just man-up and play as themselves. If it's so easy to figure it out...then WHY BOTHER? and WHY WASTE THE GOLD ON THAT? Spend the 50 gold on a refill for additional points. Problem solved.

    No u dont u need to hit for your syndicate to register on indi leaderboard.. needs either Locking fully.. or needs to be updated to change instantly on the leaderboard when its changed..

    Yes the game is called Crime City... but if you cheat or use a bug/glitch to gain an advantage... it is AGAINST the terms of service and punishable with upto, but not limited to, accounts being banned..

    Using the fact that leaderboard does not update/refresh as it should, to decieve the rest of the players into throwing their gold to the wind.... is breaking such a rule and therfore needs to be changed

    Since there has been no response from gree in either of your threads about this topic, I will repeat what I said before you had my posts deleted, this function of the game is working as intended. Lag is bad in almost every aspect of the game. Just gotta deal with it
