I think it disappears at the end of the event (or soon after) and you get it back on the next one starting from scratch.

Cutter is sat right there as highest strength attack unit for me

Goto inventory.. click on Sort.. then Attack twice.. you should see your weapon there.. if u remember how strong the final stats were.. just scroll to that area. If its definately not there then send tickets ☺ i have both weapons from Hate and Revenge. They dont show stats in the Fight/Rob result page though.
