Lol, even the most addicted would only buy 100 vaults at a time (150,000 gold plus 250,000 free if it's not changed) which is $10,000. How many times a year you'd need to do that who knows. Certainly no more than two or three times tops, and quite possibly just once.

A billion dollars would be a tiny fraction of your overall wealth, so it wouldn't be too far fetched. $10,000 a month in gold won't get you anywhere in this game. I could burn through that in under 5 minutes.

There are people who hit the 10k mark each event.. but even if you hit it each month for the entire duration of the game you wouldn't get anywhere near a billion

I kinda think maybe you don't appreciate how much a billion dollars is or what it takes to earn a billion dollars. If anyone playing this game had enough motivation and talent to earn enough to spare a billion dollars to play a game, I'm pretty sure they would have purchased the game and are not playing for lack of time to do so.
