It's dumb fun and the OTT violence makes it pretty hilarious actually, but other than that it's pretty awful.

The awfulness is part of the schtick, and largely why I enjoyed it.

Absolutely. I've not seen 'Machete Kills' but loved 'Machete' for the same reasons. It's a 'grindhouse' movie, not Citizen Kane!

True, true but sometimes it was a bit too much. I enjoyed the Machete Kills Again......In Space! fake trailer at the beginning. I will admit I may have been a bit harsh with my rating. It's one of those so bad it's good movies.

Batman v Superman: 7/10, the critical thrashing was a bit excessive. I went in expecting it to suck and it didn't so I guess that must've inflated my score for it.

    Gamera vs. Gayaos (1967) 7/10

Standard Japanese giant monster movie fare. Gayaos is a bit cheap, but some of the battle scenes are excellent.

    Gamera vs. Viras (1968) 4/10

By contrast this fourth outing for the giant turtle is pretty dreadful. It's 86 minutes long, of which around a quarter is footage recycled from the previous three films in the series. Also far too much pre-pubescent kids running around shouting "Gamera" and some hapless attempts at comedy. Four out of ten might be generous!

    Batman V Superman 5/10
Very disappointed with it. Unlike you, I went in expecting it to be excellent and it failed IMO. Biggest flaw was Affleck as Batman, didn't work for me. It had almost impossible job of following the last 2 Batman movies to be fair but didn't even come a mile close to them
One +, Wonder Woman was hot

Not sure why you had high expectations. Almost universally, the press and critics warned you not too.
