    Back in the day I heard the then ancient story of
    my Grandfather and his dog Snowball whom he used to keep in the pocket of his overcoat. Apparently one day during the Winter of '32 Snowball devoured a pack of cookies (biscuits to you Brendan) he had stupidly placed in the same pocket as Snowball.
    I understand Snowball never ate a cookie again, and showed a deep respect for them the rest of her life, and it was all accomplished with cookies she scarfed up there in the Philadelphia snow.

    IMHO ... Jess needs to have a similar understanding.
