Face Off was really stupid. I stopped watching 30 minutes in. I liked Heat, an all star cast to be sure, but is was the beginning on the Al Pacino grossly overacting stage, which dropped it out for me.

And while I love most the Marvel movies, I don't rank them as classics. They are just fun, not classics. The last Avengers was more like a Transformers movie, and I don't see a Captain America/Tony Stark feud gaining traction.

That's a great if weird movie.

There's several on your list I could have included but didn't because I haven't seen them. Shocking I know, but finding a couple of hours to watch a film without some wretched interruption is tough for me

Add in Godzilla (the original Japanese version, not the curious melange put together for American audiences, and definitely not the terrible remake) and the proper Michael Caine "Get Carter" to my honourables. More to come on that.

I just read mine again and left out Resevoir Dogs. Unbelievable.

I never put in The Deer Hunter (Walken, De Niro) either.

    I want a do over.

OK I'll try top ten directors

    1. Stanley Kubrick
    2. Martin Scorcese
    3. Steven Spielberg
    4. Tim Burton
    5. Quentin Tarantino
    6. Dennis Hopper
    7. George Lucas before 1985
    8. The Coen Brothers
    9. Francis Ford Coppola
    10. Guy Ritchie

Not gonna lie, after 7 I had to open Google because I couldn't think of anymore I liked off the top of my head.

You have 2 John Hughes movies in your list. In the OP it is stated that fanboyism will not be tolerated and you can only have 1 per director or else get the OBESE rating.

I love tacos, you are OBESE.

You should have a TV talk show, TMC... You can tell people their taste in movies suck and talk about the current state of their penis. It'd be great.
