Pysco is anyone going to care about the new boat you bought in 25 years from now? ( you know what they say a boat is, and the two happiest days of the owners life?) is anyone going to really remember anything you've done today, in 25 years from now? It's entertainment fella, not a social statement. If I participate in a local bicycle race and win with my 12k bike and fancy shoes and outfit ( do I think I'm lance Armstrong? Oops, maybe a bad choice, but I bet he will still be remembered in 25 years, just like Pete rose) that I will do a little victory dance, and probably someone like you in the crowd shouting out, do I think I just not the Tour de France? Why do some of you hate people for what they like to do for entertainment. If you didn't have some sort of competitive streak, you would have never played this game for so long either, so don't pretend you arnt just the same. Maybe you can't spend as much as some, maybe you can, but chose to spend it on other things, like a classic muscle car. If that's what you like, more power to you. Maybe you compete at car shows with your pride and joy. I know some people who think such things are ridiculous. I chose to let everyone enjoy what they wish in their own way, unless it hurts someone else. And no, the spenders not spending any more would not have a postive effect on the game as some of you have suggested. Stop your hate, and let every one have their fun. Pheonix did a last battle today that had no hope of catching sup, and they knew this, yet still did over 7 mil points in that battle. To me it seemed something of a waste, but you know, I bet they had a reason for it, and obviously had a lot of people who agreed with it to do that number. Their money, their choice, who am I to say they were wrong. If they had fun doing it, isn't that all that matters? If you have fun not spending, then by all means do that. What I don't get is, if you're not having fun, and it's all such a bitter experience , why are some of out guys still here? Fun for you is raining on others parade? That's just sad. Some of you seem to think that spenders are blind to some magic truth or insight, that only the enlightened, such as yourselves, are privy to. Ever heard the term zealot? Live, and let others live. Some of the same peopel have complained here and in other chats about the state of the country. that the government is trying to tell us what we can and can't do. Seems to me it's not just the government trying that. If youre against something, you think everyone else has to be too.

Like i said in the other post keep spending if it make you feel better. now you talk about intertainement lol i dont know what you call intertainement when you know you will finish first every time, maybe you feel powerfull and that feeling is filling some empty spot you got somewhere else.btw i know a good therapist if you need to talk about it

Psyco, now you are the great judge to decide what each persons idea of entertainment is? You would be fooling yourself if you don't believe that each event is not a challenge for sup to put in the effort for a win. you still havnt given a reason why you have so much against people who want to spend their own money in the way they chose. Wanting to define how we should think, sure shows something. Maybe you don't even know why you have this anger, maybe you do, but won't admit it because of what others will think. Either way, we will define for ourselves what we like, and not let others define it for us. maybe you guys are purposely trying to drive the few left with some rational thought, like hellraizer, out of the forums, so you can have it all to yourselves.

Fact is, there are too many zombie factions out there and too few active players to fill them all. Fewer players in a faction = worse results = worse prizes = more difficult to attract new members = more wastage = fewer players in the faction....etc etc.

I'd be surprised if anyone on here (aside from myself) is in a faction which places outside the top 50. If you care enough to post on here, you're probably active enough and strong enough to get a spot in a top 50 faction. Myself, I don't care. My spending days are over, I'm just amusing myself doing what I want in the game. If anyone wants to throw money into it, that's their decision, good luck to them.

Always say, the definition of entertainment is very subjective and it only matters to each individual

I find entertaining to read a comic book, you may say, that is dumb
you find entertainment in reading a literature book, I may say that is boring
who is right and who is wrong...........................neither one

I find it a waste of money buying smoke as you are literaly burning your money, or to buy alcohol, even worse getting drunk, yet some people find that entertaining regardles knowing of health risks

True. But you aren't the only one not top 50 (1500-2000 lol). After trudging to 200, I had enough. Now none of us care how we finish. 17 accounts, maybe 6 that do anything at all, and none of those with any real effort. A faction full of slackers like us could probably take 500 easy. But we just don't care enough to try. If everyone else like us did, there would only be about 700 factions total. Sad.

Back during march madness I created 20 additional players to bring me up to 40. Then built 3 factions. As each WD comes and goes the number of players either leaving or who are coasting continues to grow exponentially. Match times for my lowest faction were averaging 20 minutes and the matches were lopsided. Either impossible or way to easy. The B faction did the best doing 3 battles and placing top 700 while the A faction did top 1000 in 3 battles. Neither lost a battle.

What I continue to encounter are 'shell' factions, a number of weak players protected by a monster DL. A sort of interesting plan if you are encountering similar factions who actually aren't participating but otherwise pretty flawed. But the main thing I saw was that someone was declaring but nobody was showing up to actually play.

Might be a lot different in the top 50 but it seems to me there is mainly dead wood down at the roots which means the game is dying from the bottom up.

I should mention that I spend no real money, I like working out strategies granted the game is pretty much devoid of this now.
